Just a Little of The Latest and Glitter Shoes

Two days till December and then the countdown to Christmas will begin! WOW… this year has gone by so fast. My Thanksgiving was delicious and celebrated with my two most favorite people in the world. Now thoughts of Christmas cookies have been in my head. I plan to make different ones and send them to my friends and family. The tree is up, two gifts have been bought, I have more I’d like to buy, and tomorrow a decorating day at work. Christmas is here and I am getting in the Christmas Spirit!!

Today I was browsing the net and came across this glitter shoe DIY. Oh I soooo want to do this. I LOVE the look and its sooo me!!! I just need a plain pair of pumps, glue, and glitter. It’s easy to do and makes drab shoes look, oh so fab! Once I get the supplies and do this project, I’ll post about it.

Until next time,

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving Day, and although I should be thinking of food, family, and all the things I’m thankful for; my mind continues to wander towards the Christmas season. My family from Florida will be making their annual Christmas visit and will be staying at our house, shopping will surely take place, with my oldest aunt present, and I can’t wait to see my mom’s reaction towards opening my gift I’m getting her. The thing that keeps me thinking of my favorite time of year is the cookies I’ll be baking. I have thought, for many years now, of baking cookies as gifts to give. Although people do this every year, I haven’t gotten around to doing it myself. But my inspirational juices are flowing, ever since the thought and the countless books on baking I’ve been looking at, and billions of websites I’ve visited. Cookies can be a little treasure all on their own. Intricate work is put into the decorating and some look too good to eat. If I had more than enough money, I would give a gift to every friend and family member that means a lot to me; but unfortunately I don’t have that kind of money…yet! I’m hoping my cookies turn out tasting wonderfully delicious and bring a smile to my recipients’ face. There will be a lot to bake and I hope I can get it all done in time to send before the big day. Until then, I’ll try to keep my mind focused on my turkey, lots of food, and what I’m thankful for!

Until next time,

Today is FINALLY the day! The day I have FINALLY, after much reluctance but also optimism, have sat down to write my first post for my blog. Over the years I have been very unsuccessful in keeping a journal or a diary. Yet sometimes I regret that I never wrote important stuff down. Important things I have done, observed, found out, or my everyday musings. I don't want to miss a thing and through this blog I can write it all down and come back and over time, relive memories, see how I have grown spiritually and mentally, and in the process, see how my writing has improved. But, I will now finally try to do this with an online blog! I will try my best to keep you up to date on the fascinating life that I lead. HAHA!! Yes, I could write in a notebook or on my cool OneNote software, but there's something about knowing someone is reading, and just maybe my words might be an inspiration, maybe entertaining, something to laugh about, informative, and make a difference.

The reason I have titled my blog, Just Another Daydream, is because I have a lot of dreams and I guess you can call them daydreams. Maybe as you read, you will find a few of them out. I have many, lots and loads of random thoughts and dreams. My dreams are big, small, strange, and sometimes to the common person, a little impossible in their mind; but never to me. I am a fearless, faithful, and bold individual. I believe that with God ALL things are possible and that all my dreams will come true, as long as I trust HIM with everything in life.

So... Hopefully I will be able to keep you engaged in my writing. Maybe in the process, the person, whoever you are, that will become an avid reader of mine, will find me out and come to know, what most people describe me as: a very "mysterious" person and a "hard to get to know" individual. But, one of my biggest hopes and prayers is that you will walk away blessed and come to know that nothing is impossible or too big for God.

My hope is that you enjoy your frequent visits to my blog, take something of value with you after reading, maybe become great friends, and also be blessed by God in the process!

Until next time,
