Send Something Good Package Swap Reveal

A few posts ago I mentioned I signed up to be apart of the Send Something Good package swap; hosted by Gentri, Kaitlyn, and Kristy. Since the swap is what I like to call, sort of like a secret santa; it has been a secret as to who had who. Today I give you the big reveal on who I had and who had me.

I had Jill Simpson from Bespoke Gifts. I checked out her tumblr blog to get an idea of what she might like to receive; and I soon found she's in the business of custom gifts. Her blog is filled with inspiring gift ideas. But, the items that she wrote, in a post about what she would like to receive in her package, stuck out the most. She likes chocolate, stationary, paper, and notebooks; just a few of my favorite things that I included in her box! I'm so happy to report that I received an email from Jill, and she likes her package!

So this is what I sent Jill:

Next, the person who had me was Megan from, And Today Was A Fairytale. She's from the sunshine state of Florida. In her package I found two seashells that are straight from her backyard, lip gloss, an AMAZING smelling candle, a notebook with inspiring words on the cover, two beautiful nail polishes, and a cute card! I could tell Megan took time to read my bog post on what I would like to receive! Everything was soooo ME!! Thank you soooo much Megan; I loved your package!

This is what Megan sent me:

Were you apart of the Send Something Good swap?

Have a GREAT day!

I'm the Most Unbelievably Sexy Woman That Has Ever Lived

Today I checked out a link from Urban Dictionary, called Define Your Friends; a place to find out what your name means. Although because it is actually written by anyone, what you find may not always be accurate. I was really impressed with what I found my name to mean. I used my first and middle name; check it out:

ASHLIE: "An all around AWESOME person... One who is spontaneous, understanding, bold, dedicated, and loving... that is if you are on her good side.. if not.. watch out! She has a temper like fire, and a heart like gold!"

ANN: "Name meaning grace, but also one who has a great sense of humor, intelligent and an impeccable sense of finding fun and adventure; most who meet her love her to death. But be warned as she has a small fuse on patience. So don’t mess with her! She will take a lot, but once she's done taking, she'll dish it out well. She’s not one to put up with ignorance and will cut you quickly if you allow her to. She has a great confidence about her and is the most unbelievably sexy woman that has ever lived. Guys should be careful engaging in a relationship. She’s worse than any love potion you could get! Once you get to know her, you’ll never experience anything like it again."

Oh how I will truly embrace the part where I'm "the most unbelievably sexy woman that has ever lived!" Although the Urban Dictionary is not the real dictionary, since anyone can write their own words and definitions; its still fun to browse. So head over there and comment below to share what YOUR name means.

Talk later!

Package Swapping with Aveen

This is a long awaited and belated post about my package swap, with Island Girl Insights. The beautiful Aveen from Sparkle In Sequins was my package swapper and you can see what I sent her by clicking here.

Aveen's package came to me all the way from Ireland. She included a card and some pictures of what Ireland looks like; which it looks like a beautiful place! In my small shoe box package, I received bracelets and a small handbag; which I will definitely use, nail polish; which one of them is a dupe to Essie, which I've really been wanting to try, lip stick in a natural shade; which looks great on my lips, bronzer; which came in a box that made it look like chocolate, a pink eye shadow, two flower hair pins, and a beautiful long, gold heart necklace. She also included two chocolate candies from Ireland; which took me no time to eat, because they were oh sooo very yummy.

I really enjoyed this package swap and I enjoyed gaining a new friend!

Until next time,
     Ashlie

Coming Up

Hello friends! I've been a little MIA for almost two weeks now; sorry. But I've been working hard on coming up with some irresistible upcoming posts to read. I've also been working hard on my wedding blog, Eilhsa. If you haven't checked it out; please do! I have soooo many ideas floating through my head for that blog. If you have a wedding or event related question, I just started "Ask The Planner", to help those in need of planning advice.

In the coming weeks I'll be posting on my package swaps that I've been apart of, my first Birchbox, penpals, and even more goodies! Stay tuned!

Also, remember Mother's Day is this Sunday. What will you be doing, going, or making for your mother?

Have a happy day!
